emptyotherI dont know. Really. Got no clue why I’m having so hard time connecting to people. Not just love either, I’m just as bad at getting new friends. Or connecting with family. Feels like I missed a class on social life that everyone else went through. I’ve tried asking people directly how I’m doing wrong. For other people it is so natural that they dont even know how they are doing it and cant tell. “Just talk with people.”
WiselySame here except I am actually married. But besides her I don’t have any friends or family. Parents were neglectful and gave me up in childhood. Got passed around to random places every few weeks until my 18th birthday.
I don’t know if it’s because I have autism or just never learned how to connect with people. I can make friends for a couple weeks but then people just drop out of my life. Maybe I am too boring or just don’t have the skills to go beyond acquaintances. Also where do you even meet people once you are in your 30’s.
