I got a emulator handheld a while back (anbernic rg34xx-sp, or as I call it the "gba-spp", for reasons you'll see soon)

Just finished my last bit of visual personalization for it.

I'm running the Knulli OS on it, and using that and the Canvas EmulationStation theme, I've made the OS "Super Pixel Pals" themed. The OS Solash screen is the group pose in the 2nd image (Also is shown when the system is technically powered down, but plugged in, when checking charge)

Then the Canvas theme background is the ending shot just before the logo drop in the Super Pixel Pals trailer.

The SPP's are such a wonder of creativity and work, so well executed and showing that early 2000's vibes this system was made to emulate (hell, Yumi uses a device similar to the standard RG34XX in the trailer!) that i had to give my system some Kidfur charm.

As for the externals? I got a protective cover from "LitNXT" and slapped a sticker from the @NMSGalacticHub on it   I've been a very active member in there for a year now, and have been helping with their events since June. Its been a wonderful time nyoomin' around space with the hub! (And yes, I do have the pico8 game Low Mem Sky on here, lmao)

I learned that can type on my steamdeck using my phone using KDE-Connect.

I knew I could use kdeconnect for a mouse, but this is neato. It'll be helpful when I use the deck on the TV (to change apps or search thing for stuff like Netflix or tokufun)

Still gotta watch some of the side stuff, but *fuck* I'm glad I made the (slightly ahead of myself) choice of jumping in so hard with this show first. That was some good ass TV.

As a physically disabled neet with no job prospects I usually put something silly like "being a puppy!" but I tried being somewhat serious this time.

May not pay the bills, but talking about Disability stuff and how it intersects with hobbyist cultures is really fulfilling for me.

Idk if advocate is even the right word for me? I'll prop up or boost what other ppl say and use as a jumping off point, though.

I've been thinking about this a lil bit with regards to cosplay spaces in particular, and the Kamen Rider Geats helmet I'm getting. Between Pricing (and disability money shenanigans), my bone disorder *making my head big* and visibility when wearing a helmet with an electric wheelchair, they're all things that I'm thinking a lot about.

As someone who's *always* been disabled, my PoV is naturally colored by it, and to be able to use that as means to discuss how Disability intersects with certain spaces (for ex. For the cubhub, physical disability, how disabled people want to be treated, and littlespace dynamics) is something I could use my perspective to speak on? I may not be the most eloquent with how I talk but I hope it gets one person thinking.
