I had a wierd experience using the email "send to Kindle" feature. I tried multiple times to send my kindle the book "You Deserve a Tech Union" and each time it errored and would not import it. I just looked up the book on Amazon and it looks like it's also inaccessible to purchase as a kindle file directly from Amazon which makes me wonder if Amazon is actively preventing it from being loaded onto kindles or if it's a wierd fluke. If anyone has successfully added it to their kindle let me know

The Ruby community is for everyone

So totally grateful to have gotten to experience @railsconf this week. It was a great three days of seeing #rubyfriends I made last year at @blueridgeruby and making even more. I want to extend my warmest thanks to @rubycentral for making it happen, to @emilysamp and @luciagirasoles for their work with WNB.rb in reference to the conference, and finally the great attendees from @thoughtbot who helped me make my first contributions to a Ruby open source project!
Excited to get to write some Svelte for work
