@rubyunconf omg I love these!! Is there anyway to purchase one if you aren't attending the conference?
I had a wierd experience using the email "send to Kindle" feature. I tried multiple times to send my kindle the book "You Deserve a Tech Union" and each time it errored and would not import it. I just looked up the book on Amazon and it looks like it's also inaccessible to purchase as a kindle file directly from Amazon which makes me wonder if Amazon is actively preventing it from being loaded onto kindles or if it's a wierd fluke. If anyone has successfully added it to their kindle let me know
People are good.

Reflections on RailsConf 2024 from a first-timer, yours truly: https://fpsvogel.com/posts/2024/railsconf-2024-recap-ruby-community

My takeaway is that the Ruby community is for everyone, even for someone like me who ends a post on RailsConf with baby pictures πŸ˜‚

The Ruby community is for everyone

RailsConf 2024 reminded me, as a busy new parent, that I don’t have to be an entrepreneur or an open-source hero. Anyone can be part of the Ruby community!
