Dang my boss of 24 years, who led my layoff and transition to teach my replacements, was laid off with three days notice! At least I got 3 months notice. He got 3 days. What a shitty company. Outsourced to India.

@Stem @RonSupportsYou @renewedresistance I believe one is young and the other old. One has nazi symbols tattooed onto his body, the other uses anti-aging serum on her body. I think I’d go with the lady.

@emptywheel.bsky.social I read that lutnick’s son’s company offered Pennies on the dollar to those importers affected by these tariffs in case the tariffs had to be paid back… the company would receive the paybacks, the importers would have received the pennies already… heck of a gamble UNLESS you KNEW that these tariffs were going to be paid back. Hmmmmm
