I often think about the tempo of the internet, and how it is often out of sync with my preferred pace.

For example, the "top story" at any given moment can fluctuate throughout the day. So, "staying on top of the news" is nigh impossible.

I think I may have a new routine: each month, have ChatGPT summarize the top news stories.

What's interesting is that, upon seeing the list, it comes across as much less frantic. It's less likely to spike my adrenaline. The dust has settled.

I like it.

Just got back from Predator: Badlands

Loved it. Dan Trachtenberg is a “blind purchase” movie maker in my eyes. As in, I don’t even need to see a trailer. I’m buying a ticket.

Just finished season 2 of Poker Face. Such a great show.

I need a season 3 (4… 5…). Also, would be cool if it somehow got confirmed to be part of the same Knives Out / Glass Onion universe. Very similar levels of kookyness.
