I've likely said this before, but I would like to see a modern take on the old 16-bit computer game Captain Blood. I imagine modern audiences would have a reasonable time with an updated UPCOM communications system, given the ubiquity of emoji these days.

@ColetteDiskette Hmm. I wonder how feasible it would be to design a computing environment based on a fighting game metaphor.

I recall some time ago, someone had rigged up a version of Doom where each enemy was one of your system processes; hurting one would renice it, and killing it would kill the process.

if you're asking how much you're being charged for some repairs, "what's the damage" may not yield the response you're looking for.
