Activated K-1518 (Maybury State Park) yesterday afternoon. I intended to use my IC-705 but the paddle would not work as if the key jack was bad. I switched to my back-up radio (TR-35) and completed the activation which included 5 P2P’s. Two post activation notes - 1) One is none and two is one! Thanks Vince! #VE6LK 2) The paddle issue was the result of using the wrong jack because the rubber cover somehow was rotated 180 degrees and I was plugging into the wrong jack. D’oh! #POTA

My activation of K-3314 yesterday included DX P2P! #POTA

My first activation (K-1518) for 2023 (took a winter break), and it was a tough one. Band conditions not good. But got it done with the help of a couple of P2P’s. Have another planned for later in the week, at a new park for me. Used the KX3 and the Chameleon MPAS Light on this one. All CW as usual. Thanks to all the hunters! #POTA
