@thomasfuchs the twitter algo rewarded people for posting distressing content because it boosted content that got the most attention. People need to unlearn the toxic traits they learned
WELL
I'm gonna keep posting this until one of you fucking boosts it
@Aethylred The face of someone who knows they're in trouble =P

Seriously though, fedi was *built* by furries, trans and queer folk, disabled neurodivergent people.

This is *the reason* the culture here is what it is. Why CWs are a thing. Why image descriptions are a thing. Why privacy matters here. Why moderation tools not only exist, but are usable — and used.

If you had joined and asked yourself "wow, how come this place is so chill and kinda… nice?" — that's thanks to all the nice people from communities some people call "weird".

So #KeepFediWeird.

Having spontaneously gone on yet another small rant about my gripes with Breath of Fire 4, I guess one of my life goals is to never create something that trips over itself as hard as that did.

From unforced error to unforced error.... constantly tumbling down the hill of its own cowardice

the fact that "websites are hosted by other computers called servers on the internet and are not a magical thing that exists" is not common knowledge anymore and is something that you have /convince/ people about just shows how bad it has gotten
#AI accepting the job.
A cryptobro DMed me to ask if I wanted to join his mailing list.
