Señor Secó@rbreich I think both parties will do what they perceive to be in their political interest at any given moment. As a result, they both stand for nothing and this is part of the problem.
Urzl@rbreich There is *nobody* left to take on corporate power. We've completely surrendered to corporations who are outcompeting humanity for control of Earth.
They are everything we ever feared an AI could be. They're legally recognized and protected non-human persons that are completely amoral and incapable of compassion.
They are the predators and we're apparently content being prey.
