What if all of the media attention and international rescue efforts focused on 5 missing passengers at the bottom of the ocean had been redirected to treating and supporting an estimated 16 million suffering from #LongCovid?

Yep, the pandemic is totally over…which is why I can’t keep Enovid nasal spray and clinical strength mouthwash with CPC (both used to reduce viral loads at the source) in the house. I keep giving it away to friends and family with known exposures or who have tested pos for #covid

The current vaccine-only approach focused on blunting the severity of COVID-19 isn’t working.

We need next Gen intranasal vaccines that build mucosal immunity and prevent transmission at the source.

@KotMinou Sadly, this is probably correct. There’s a tiny ray of hope that the CDC will include a recommendation for another bivalent booster for those who are in vulnerable groups, following the recent ACIP meeting in Feb 2023. The CDC has not yet published the final updated vaccine recommendations. We wait…

The debate over the origin of the 🦠 suffers from an absence of hard evidence and an abundance of confirmation bias.

It’s distracting us from what we urgently need to do—slow transmission, develop sterilizing intranasal vaccines, and find ways to prevent and treat #LongCovid #covid

@KotMinou @aintist Because uptake of the bivalent booster was abysmally low, the rest of us are paying for it because the response from the decision-makers has been, well, let’s just offer it once per year and time it to coincide with the flu vaccine and hope it all just works out for everyone, I guess. 🤷‍♀️
In the meantime, keep stretching, everyone! 🥴
Yes, we know our vaccine protection is fading. We’re waiting for the CDC to authorize another bivalent booster. 🙄
