I’m a North Bay resident, mom, grandmother, wife, & lawyer. Quilting, crafting, gardening, politics, reading, & writing are my interests.

I think it’s definitely OK to post a response to a post with which you disagree. If others see such a response as an attack they are not capable of having a civil conversation without taking what is said personally. We should be able to disagree & discuss why as long as the discussion is respectful.

So pleased to have come across you and your work. I’m an embroiderer & quilter. Love the floral embroidery on your site. Fascinating work!

@Siniful

Love your needle minder. Words to stitch by!

Wow! That’s amazing work!

Discussing Damar Hamlin’s tragic collapse with a friend who remarked that in the midst of a big high profile sporting event on national TV a person was injured and suddenly nothing mattered but Damar’s well being, and why can’t this be the default response by the world when a person is in pain, falls ill, is in need?

The NWS description of the weather we should expect in the bay area this week sounds bad.

Thank you! I grew up in Piedmont. Loved Children’s Fairyland! I remember so much of what the film shows! And the clothes!

Rounded up my favorite pictures from my favorite @sfchronicle assignments in 2022 ✨ Here’s to another year of documenting the beautiful and important moments in life.

I love closing out the year with this. 😊

On December 31, 1995, exactly 27 years ago today, legendary cartoonist Bill Watterson published his final 'Calvin and Hobbes' comic strip.

How beautiful and appropriate it was, and a timeless reminder of what we have before us in 2023. ❤️

Happy New Year, ya'll!
