I am overjoyed to announce that I have secured tenure and promotion! There are many people that made this possible. My research group learned to thrive during the pandemic, my family was relentlessly supportive, and many others propelled me onward…there is a lot to be thankful for!

I am overjoyed to announce that three PhD students from the Van Deventer Lab have successfully defended their theses within the past week: Arlinda Rezhdo, Manjie Huang, and Mariha Islam. They have each made tremendous research contributions. There will be plenty more to say about their contributions once we have a chance to celebrate some more!
