I'm a crafter, dreamer & try to promote kindness in everything I do. Love F1, my shaved head, swearmerchant and I post about diabetes, insulin dependent - please don't follow me if you don't like this.

Live in North Wales =)

Avatar is a cream miniature teddy bear that I hand stitched. It's head is cocked to the side quizzically. It has big ears & a brown nose.

I have a Ko-fi where I sell my badges!

It can be watched on YouTube. It's at 3pm. I thought it was earlier, but there's loads of people walking past the house and black SUVs passing.

Also, we managed to get back before the Mike Peters funeral. There are so many cars, people walking down the road already. The road to the village it's being held in, is closed off, cones everywhere, police ready. We luckily got back in time and were able to get into our driveway.

I'm assuming famous people are passing our house on the way there at this moment.

Went out to Morrisons, got cake, black forest fresh cream pot, some pasties - basically a making us happy shop.

Also got fruit for my nutribullet blender that should be here soon. I really want smoothies, but not particularly all the sweetners and additives in shop bought ones. Thought I'd be happier with bananas and apples and berries. I can change it up every week.

Threw myself in a tizzy because it's the Switch 2 launch date and my eye hospital appointment. Too many things at once.

Ah fuck it, I want to smell like apples. It seriously cheers me up. Original Source crisp apple shower gel really helps at the moment.

Lunch! Some of that tomato ciabatta, made into a cheese sandwich and 2 ginger biscuits to dunk. I am thinking of making oat biscuits maybe, with added sultanas. Depends on my brain. I'm very exhausted and brain foggy today.

Easy Oat Biscuits (Homemade Hobnobs)

Homemade Hobnob-style biscuits. These oat biscuits are slightly chewy and perfectly sweet.  It’s been a while since I’ve shared a new recipe, but during that time I’ve been busy updatin…

What Jessica Baked Next

Alright, indulged in some retail therapy. Bought some leggings and vests. We'll be travelling over 5 hours in a van and I'm bad at the best of times wearing clothes.

So cute stuff in a loose size will help.

And I have to be around people, so I'm hoping these will help my anxiety too.

I slept a little before I crashed my glucose level. I then ate jelly babies and read till 3.30am. I was scared I was going to crash, as 3am is always the lowest I go during the night. Then it goes up again.

So, I'm very tired right now. I'm brain foggy, slightly confused and not sure what I'm doing.

Except that foccacia, I know I'll be having a hunk of that at lunch as a sandwich. Omg it was so good. I think I should get up for crumpets and tea.

I'm glad that Jonathan again was up late, as my watch alarm did not go off when I had a low glucose dip a moment ago. Am now on the jelly babies and will likely have an even worse brain day tomorrow.

At least I've remedied my watch alarm, she says as it goes off again while typing this.

Foccacia seemingly worked. Haven't cut into it yet. #breadposting #bread

Foccacia is in the oven, I'm not sure I've fully given it enough time, but it is bubbly and has cherry tomatoes pushed in the dough. I didn't add sea salt on top as it can be added later, it was way too salty last time with flaked sea salt.

I'm going to just leave it baking until 6pm and then see if it rose or flopped. We're having pasta puttaseca later, a vegan sauce was on offer from Ocado which piqued my interest. I do love olives and capers. Jonathan I think is happy because it's pasta tonight and he loves it.
