Overdramatised and overstated imo. Cardiovascular events are rare in the population as a whole and the higher instances in younger males resolve in the majority of cases so statements need to portray accurate clinical sequelae without stoking fear.
@chrischirp sounds like staying out of hospital may be the best avoidance strategy…one wonders how the NHS has survived this long

Would be good to explain why #WHO scientific advisors failed to acknowledge airborne transmission of the virus until around July 2020 despite more than 100 years of respiratory droplet transmission knowledge. See 👇 Also should we define ‘the science’ that governments should have been following, without slipping into a creeping determinism explanation as have some critics
