One approach to tackle bacterial infections is to disrupt the integrity of the bacterial envelope with antibiotics. We set up a colour palette to quantify this process by eye which could be great for education.

To identify which drugs disrupt bacterial envelope integrity, the Typas group uses a molecule called chlorophenyl red-β-D-galactopyranoside.
