Really cannot get over how much I enjoy Measurement by Paul Lockhart. It really is a well made and thought provoking book on geometry and how we think about it.

Every time I hear people tout the wonders of automation it always strikes me as either utopian foolishness or a bald-faced lie.
Without fundamentally upending the capitalist structure of our world automation will only ever be used as a tool against the working class and creative people as a Sword of Damocles to threaten them with.
