@hacks4pancakes the data supports putting the humans first. Google, Qualtrics and a few others studying this in the wild found that happy employees lead to better business results. And 70% of that is directly tied to the manager. It's funny how people see respect and kindness as weak management. Our military teaches leaders that their purpose is to take care of their people. No one would call the US Marines weak or say that they coddle their people.
