@jimmyb No not at all, actually. Like others have mentioned, I bring my day pack with tech most places anyway. One thing to note - the case it comes with includes space for the USB-C power/charge adapter. Since all of my devices are USB-C, when I bring my steamdeck, I can leave other cables / chargers at home.

On a sofa or comfortable chair. I also bring it when I travel. I have a gaming PC, but sometimes I like to relax with a game w/o having to sit at my desk or monopolizing the family TV.

Are you able to launch it from desktop mode? May be worth launching from the command line to see what errors are generated, but that sounds frustrating.

I have been using the nonSteamLauncher to install Battle.net on my #steamdeck to play #DiabloIV. So far, so good for me.

@Coffee4me Same for me. I tried a few times but realized my goal was running #DiabloIV on the #steamdeck, and it works without the missing Battle.net patch, so I just let it go.

Switch: Nintendo exclusives, couch-coop, moving games.

Steam/steamdeck: Everything else.

Exception: I have a weird fascination with being able to buy physical copies of games, so sometimes Switch because of that.

Oh OK, like the screen turns off? Sorry I have not seen that, just where the screen is black (but still on) when exiting some games.
