@Firlefanz Listen. I get it. I'm pouring a lot of my heart and soul, and a not insignificant amount of my paycheck into doing this the way I think is right for me.

I don't think there is a single answer to the issue of generative AI. The fact that it lowers barriers to entry means that it will help further the democratization of media.

I'm not trying to tell you what to think. I'm merely asking you to consider as much of this issue as possible. I want the decision you make to be informed.

You have to consider how your choices, when taken over many different people across many different circumstances, can have bad effects for the system as a whole.

It's easy for you to justify not paying an artist because you can't afford it. However, if AI covers become the norm, then cover artists don't get paid by anyone.

Same with audiobooks.
