Just watched a 1984 episode of Tales From the Darkside, with a pre-Star Trek Brent Spiner and a pre-everything Christian Slater.
I watched Exorcist II: The Heretic last night with captions on so I'd understand what was happening.

Walked around Trinity Park in Durham and there a tons of trees and branches down. I could hear the sound of generators throughout the neighborhood. These were some of the trees down on Duke East Campus.
The Carolina Theatre was showing films from the Criterion Collection this weekend. I got to watch one movie I’d never seen - “Mirror”, directed by Andrei Tarkovsky - and one of my all-time top 10 favorite films - “In the Mood for Love”, directed by Wong Kar-Wai. First time watching it in a theatre and it did not disappoint. Such a gorgeous film.
