Also I'm open to other instance suggestions. I'd prefer someplace that is well federated (though no nazi chuds please), doesn't mind geekiness and relentless furry silliness, etc.

And here's the down side of small comfy federated instances...they shut down. So, cybre.space is apparently going away. I'll probably move over to the @stux party at mstdn.social. So, if you get friend requests, yes, it's me.

Been playing around with the nix package manager. I'd been meaning to for a while, then got reminded about it. Seems pretty spiffy so far. Someone even made a package to make everything play nicely with fish.
