Proposition: convince these people that toiletries — toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, soap — are gay and trans and woke, until they wind up looking and smelling like the newscasters from Batman after the Joker poisons stuff with Smilex.

@[email protected] to note, ok gesture has very specific contexts so generally somebody casually throwing it out to a crowd without really talking to anyone is more than likely trying racist dogwhistling.

eventually they got hooked on the "liberals call anyone a nazi" idea, not realizing that shouting "I'm not a nazi" is the "I didn't kill him" of political confessions. one such campaign was "make the ok sign a nazi one". the idea was that if enough nazis started flashing the ok sign non-racists would call it out and regular folks would be like "hey wtf you can't call rando's nazis".
Note that the only people "fooled" are usually nazis pretending to be unaware & boomers
@[email protected] a year or two ago 4chan's /pol/ set out a series of troll campaigns. some were them pretending to be feminists on twitter and trying to trend hashtags such as #freebleeding (where they said tampons were patrircha and women should have periods wherever and take photos) and #endfathersday (guess what that was about)
