Sunday Reflection

#silentsunday

Let’s build this up! It took time to build up IG…. I remember when it was small. Those were the days - and new we can do it again 😎
A chorus of crocuses

My wife and I, on an unplanned trip across the south, passed a #WWII #ship.

We hunted it down.

In the park was an aged #tank. I love this shot.

We visited a #winery in the Texas hill country. Fantastic wine.

In the struggling garden (it was HOOOOOOOT), was this #statue.

My wife kept whispering, “Don’t Blink…”

Total Eclipse 2024 - all I can say is that the photos and video I have do not do justice to this experience at all. I desperately wanted to see it and managed to align a trip for work in the area. I drove to a tiny cemetery in Ohio and watched the entire thing (from 1% totality to 100%) with the groundskeeper there.

The eclipse looked so much closer up (unlike photos) with perfect tendrils of the sun reaching out from behind the moon, and even solar flares were visible. It was unlike anything I’ve seen and far surpassed my expectations. Hoping to be in Gibraltar for the one in 2027 🖤💛

Sunset in the #GulfOfMexico. Not entirely certain which trip. I pumped the warmth a bit.
