@jopearce I've had that happen more times than I can recall with the old secureid tokens... Common in the corporate world. When they were on a fob, ok. Occasionally had "click"issues so just wait 15 seconds and you're good
When we moved to phone apps for authentication... Fail city. Was a year or two where I actually wanted a fob again
Better now... (To whom should an atheist pray to succour travellers on the road to secure comms?)
@WhatIActuallyThink it takes an adult to admit that they made a mistake.
Kudos.
@WhatIActuallyThink untrue. What you can't raise is an authoritarian follower.
You *can* raise a independent thinker who will *follow your leadership*.
Of course - that presupposes that you can inspire such a person to follow you.
FYI - it's much more rewarding for everyone involved.
@beaveresque yep. I've killed my presence on Facebook completely.
I'm on Twitter for work related stuff... With a separate account for politics and passion! (also shits and giggles)
Hoping Mastodon can eliminate the latter.
@regal we have those here on the Atlantic coast of Florida...
With the benefit of predictability (usually in the afternoon around 3)
Also, seem to have less deadly hail. (An aside h worst hailstorm I experienced was in Switzerland - cars looked like they had been attacked by ball-peen hammers)
@philthethrill I think the problem with the "15000 strong community of X" is the number of fucking Nazis who come along to piss on everyone's fun.
IOW Small communities can be great, too.
@JoeChan_Raye just read my toot, and it sounds... Disparaging?
Don't mean it that way mean this:
Yay! 30k is awesome! Power on, dude!
The rest is an aside, and to say - riding in the sunshine is even more awesome, even when it's not as fast!
