Okay, we need to talk about this: where the fuck is the line? This isn't an isolated occurrence, cartoons have been regressing and putting their characters in diapers (both clean and used) for YEARS without backlash. Why is it suddenly a problem when we do it?

It's not age. I'll remind you that Cosmo is an adult in this cartoon and in this moment. They've also done more than one episode where Timmy, a 10 year old child has been regressed. And does anybody remember the diaper scene from Danny Phantom? Yeah, that isn't the problem.

The problem, if I had to guess, is that ABDL/babyfur is considered to be part of, or at the very least supporting, the LGBT+ community. And as much as people would want you to believe things are getting better for that community, there are still plenty who consider it "unclean" "immoral" and "wrong".

I really don't want to be big today.

I can't stop thinking about how much I would like to be smol with a bunch of friends and be chaotic and silly. Play pretend, play house with our plushies, make up a story and draw it poorly together, and run around in cute clothes that make us feel pretty and little and just having a shameless good time being comfortable with eachother.

And you know what would be the cherry? Having someone watching us over. Someone that likes us being like that and makes us do little things to keep us in the mood. No phones, no serious topics. Telling us to wash our hands before eating, to pick up our toys, that asks if we have to go to the potty, and handles us sliced fuit bowls and overall engages with us. That would be stupidly validating to be honest.

Anyway, at least I can work while hugging my plushies.

So the Patreon purge is still ongoing. @dracky is the latest casualty that I know of (her account got hit just a short while ago - be sure to go and support her in whatever ways you can!).

Now, however, it appears that even vanilla NSFW creators are getting swept up in Patreon's anti-sex crusade. I know my post might not have much reach outside of kink circles, but if you're a NSFW artist - especially in the furry fandom - you need to LISTEN and start looking for the exit, because we kinksters are - as always - the canaries in the coal mine.

When you let the fandom purity police go unchallenged, and when you turn away from seeing what's happening to various kink artists because you don't like their kinks, it is going to come back to you. Make your displeasure with Patreon known. If possible, find other platforms (I realize this is difficult for non-US/Europe folks in particular; I'm not judging anyone for staying if they have no other options). Refuse to do business with artists who are openly anti-kink.

"Well it's just a bunch of babyfurs; they're gross anyway." First, we make up a very sizeable percentage of the furry fandom that you likely aren't even aware of (I guarantee you there were/are lots of non-kink furry artists on Patreon who were shocked to see how many of their users fled/were kicked from the platform because of this purge). Second, even if you weren't directly affected by the ABDL purge, I promise you it's not going to end with us; they're going to come after you next. Mark my words.
