This was both not nearly as bad as I'd thought, and still took longer than I'd wanted.

Because of how the "space" inside is distributed, no real good place to put a 'real' motor so we have the baby mini disc boi instead, but it still (somehow) ends up fitting pretty well.

May or may not have found a dumb weekend-slash-snowstorm project I got stuck in while also getting use out of my fixed up printer.

While none of it's hooked up yet, everything's covered and it closes it well, save for a GX adapter where the phone jack-esque port/mainboard sat in originally.

Good news, the hotend arrived, and it *seemed* to be working great.

Until the bed felt like it was unleveling every time I started doing a print.

Bad news? Apparently my PETG wasn't good enough to stop the hotend adapter from doing a, uh...

maybe I'll chuck the texture replacements on GitHub or smth just so it's there as a public resource in case brainier people want to inject these into the game proper, iunno? still need to do the other bonus mode screens/wpns

rn this is just being done with textures so at least two lines of subs are REALLY awkwardly smol and again this only works on emulation

BUT there's also kind of some beefy extra content in this version, with its own exclusive weapons that were ONLY in Japanese and I'm remaking those from scratch?

(the idea being that this could be a basis for a more proper texture injection/strings hack so it could also work on hardware, rather than just emus and Steam Deck like things)
