Another good one that seems more relevant today.
Not everyone that has a podcast or that makes Youtube videos actually knows what they are talking about. There's no IQ test to pass to be eligible to broadcast your thoughts to anyone who will listen. Being louder and talking over the other person doesn't mean you are winning the debate.

If you have ever had cats, you might know that there is a certain threshold crossed that is not always apparent until it might be too late, when it unexpectedly gets serious.

There could be a moment where innocent play becomes deadly (or at least possibly scarring). It's like playing patty cake with a toddler and they get mad because they are losing and they suddenly pull out a switchblade. Cats have multiple sets of switchblades on each paw.

Some of my favorite quotes that seem more relevant lately.

The damn thing looks like someone asked an 8 year-old boy to draw a personal vehicle for Robocop to pick up his Robokids from Roboschool in his off hours, maybe grab some Robotussin from a local drug store in... they built it in real life with (circa 1997) Playstation 1 graphics.

Sorry, I'm not a fan of Phony Stark.

Happy holidays and whatnot. I Christmas-fied my cats, present and past.
It's good to see Mongo and Pixel getting along. There are two heating pads that are always on, so this is a choice to be next to each other. They do have light scuffles now & then, but they generally tolerate each other most of the time.

My front door is metal-plated, so I can decorate it with magnets.
Unfortunately, bored neighborhood kids are doing that ding-dong-ditch nonsense (punching doors) and I don't need my #3Dprinted decorations messed up by them.

This day and age, almost everyone has a camera. I have two & they are clearly visible. I got them on video last weekend, sneaking up to my new neighbor's apartment, punching their door and running off. I even saw what apartments they went into.

A friend was showing me the ropes and I wanted to recreate one of my sleeping pill dreams.

I was standing in a corn field and suddenly people that looked like mannequins started running, and so I started running, too. I saw a terminator-like robotic unicorn with a running drill for a horn. It knocked down one of the people and drilled into their back. It was sucking their blood into a glass canister inside the unicorn's chest, the damn thing used blood as fuel.

My main genre for movies has usually been sci-fi, but there haven't been any of those (unless I missed them) in theaters this year, unless you count 28 Years Later which is sort of a sci-fi and some super hero movies that have sci-fi elements (though, I didn't see them). All my favorites have been horror. Meanwhile, it has been a decent year for sci-fi on TV, mostly from Apple TV+.
The stare that Mongo you gives when you're doing :checks notes: anything. #cats
