To be fair, the arch wiki is very good. I use it quite often despite not using arch. Quite a few things are valid on other distros, or you can get hints on how to fix it, like where to start looking.
You sound surprised?
Sid for life!
Still doable, but you can’t have external RAM. Hence, lack of RAM is a bigger issue.
It is not a lot, but it is not that hard to extend storage. For example with an external SSD/HDD or a NAS.

Aschttuaaalllyyy… .uk allows registrations directly on .uk without the stupid .co.uk, they started that in ~2014.

However .co is more common, also if it was a goverment site it wouldn’t use .co (company) anyway and instead .gov.uk.

Servers are debian, desktop debian. Why swap when you found the best already? 😁

I guess technically steam deck is not on debian, but I didn’t choose it so it doesn’t really count.

I don’t mind the assignments if they aren’t too big. If they are, which is quite rare, I just tell them it is too big.

Rather have an assignment than some stupid live coding meeting.

Honestly, I look at this and I see a future where everyone runs their own Federated services

I very much doubt it. People in general just don’t care, or even worse. They think that it is a good thing as it keeps baddies out (it won’t) and it will protect them (it won’t).

It seems line very dark times are ahead. Self hosting is good, but it also gives the other side a bright shining beacon to go after. If they know everything about 99% of the population already, they can spend a lot more resources to really get to know the last percent that actively tries to avoid it.

Didn’t the writers just ignore the source material and thought they could write better? Which made them effectively write fan fiction. And even by those standards, bad fan fiction.
