Not a particularly interesting person. Sci-fi nerd/husband/father/Office worker/AuDHD.

@Graham_LRR That’s a relief.

I’m not gonna judge a creator for doing what’s needed to eat (or following the path of fewer spoons spent) but I do enjoy when ads play at designated ad breaks. And I try to let ads play when I have the spoons myself.

@Graham_LRR is this all the ad spots they want to show or just the potential ones and they’ll play or skip based on how long it’s been since another ad was seen… or skipped. Wait, does skipping ads increase how often they play?

Anyone else remember commercials?

@Graham_LRR I always took the “high” question as a miscalculated compliment, often with the implied approval of using such substances. The “AI” question is downright insulting.

RIP, major influence of my childhood. It's a crime that I own none of these on DVD or VHS:

"The horror series, which starting with “The Fall of the House of Usher” in 1960, spawned eight low-budget hits including “The Tomb of Ligeia” and “The Masque of Red Death.” They revived the careers of Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, Basil Rathbone and Peter Lorre and became classics of a kind."

@timfordwrites @Graham_LRR Heaven help us, if there isn’t.
@JenMsft :awkward wave:
@Graham_LRR That’s true. I’ve been in so many cults that failed to predict the next drop. Next time, they’ll get it right.

@Graham_LRR Graham, my dude. I love these videos, but you couldn’t have picked a busier weekend to post.

I have so many long-form essays to watch, one massive video essay that’s pop culturally relevant, an AskLRR AND a LRRCast.

(Not complaining. Just entitled.)
