@bookstodon It took me many years to get to this point, but I finally get to see my #books on my shelf surrounded by some of the ones that inspired them. #WritingCommunity
Not sure of the original source, but it made me laugh.
The films I caption for work can be interesting. In this 1944 Coast Guard training film, these seamen (huh huh) are trying to self-diagnose their mental health issues.
I was ten years old when Murray Head's song "One Night in Bangkok" came out. So while I liked it, I was too young to understand what most of the lyrics actually meant. When the line comes up, "I get my kicks above the waistline, sunshine," I always pictured something like this:
@bookstodon It's a very moving feeling when someone posts a photo of your books in their home. #WritingCommunity
Sad to hear about Richard Belzer. I wasn't into the crime shows he was on, but I liked his #stand-up. Here's a clip from an old VHS tape of him doing a bit about Ronald Reagan.
I like to imagine Lady Gaga seeing this and being like, "No, that's a bit too much."

Just finished watching Hatching, a Finnish #horror movie from last year. Really cool and effective, though the story didn't quite turn out the way I expected in terms of what I thought I'd figured out was happening. Still, not bad and beautifully made and creepy.

Looking for consensus, I found mostly positive reviews. But don't rely on Amazon customer reviews for things like this. Half of them are dumb-asses saying shit like "not good it wasn't in English I'm too dumb to read subtitles"🙄
