Failing to make games since AS1.

Got to that scene certain people were making a fuss about in #veilguard and... That's it? I mean, I knew it was going to have been misrepresented but it's almost comically benign.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say most people who were upset by it are not the kind of people who have had a friend change pronouns, or at least somone who'd care about respecting them if they did.

Reinstalled #AlanWake2 to play though the first DLC before Lake House this month. Fun if understandably short. The last episode got me to install #quantumbreak Much like Alan Wake it was something I'd have liked but passed me by. Do remember the marketing putting me off, especially around integrated TV show, if not exactly why. And while I'm not sure the show works it's over all good so far but I am super impressed by what they were trying to do which always seems to be the case with #Remedy
I'm started using #Unity again recently, even before they'd completely finished back pedalling. It's simply my personal best bet to actually finish something. Being potentially screwed over in the future won't matter much if I don't.
As much as #warframe Steel Path defence missions annoy me because they're basically impossible solo with out using a one of a handful of frames. I am rather enjoying getting to employee Limbo to his maximum cheese, at least as far as my mods and such allow. Squishy enough that I have to pay attention, just not to keeping defence targets made of paper alive when it's raining bullets.

A neat #warframe feature is daily Steel Path incursions that gives extra rewards for running standard Steel Path missions. Importantly you do not have to have unlocked the nodes on Steel Path to access the mission but completing them unlocks the node.

This means that there's always squads for at least some missions. Which is important as the difficulty for some defence mission type is a bit over tuned. But it also opens up access to nodes including the more easily soloable ones.

My descent back into #Warframe continues as I feel like I've started into the end game. Have cleared Earth on Steel Path and can pull my weight in Archon hunts so can more easily get shards than the Kahl-175 missions etc.

Still feeling out a Kullervo build, started with a couple of guides as reference but have go my own way with the Wrath of Ukko augment. Very power hungry but an awful lot of fun.

"not sure I will play it regularly"... I should know better when it comes to #warframe. On the bright side I did the Kullervo grind, wasn't too bad as I already has some materials from the Duviri release. Plan is to try finishing Steel Path with him.

Suprisingly I enjoyed playing Duviri, at least a lot more than I did originally. I think ignoring the Drifters combat system helped, it's not very good but not required especially with how quickly you power in a run.

Reinstalled and caught up on #Warframe as 1999 is exactly the kind of off the wall stuff I love the game for. While I was a bit disappointed with Duviri the smaller content updates since have all been pretty especially (as ever) the art direction.

There's been some nice game balance and QOL updates, and I picked up a new frame by playing on new tiles sets with new enemies which is nice. Not sure I'll be playing regularly again but looking forward to 1999.

Today is a hell of a day to be a sysadmin. My company doesn't use #crowdstrike so we're not affected thankfully as dealing with boot looping that can only be fixed by deleting a specific file sounds hellish especially if you use bit locker o virtual machine.
After seeing that the exotic class item quests use timers and require me to play with someone else to unlock, I don't see any need to get them. That shit is needlessly complicated to the point that I'd have to enable voice chat, and that is not going to happen. My one rule as a black gamer is that I never enable voice chat. Besides, only the endgame maniacs actually wanted those things. #Destiny2
