@Jami knew about Jami not JAMS - I installed to use it at early stage, but I didn't find anyone else I knew that was using it! So sadly uninstalled.

@Tutanota amongst other #privacy encrypted emails Tuta appeared a promising one. There was the encryption, the open source factor; GNU license. For disadvantaged souls it was giving 1 GB free, then came the voluntary 1 euro per month affordable for someone who wanted to donate. Other services started at a few Euros per months not so affordable. The external box for correspondence to those without a tuta account was a good addition, although not as good as another service with timed deletion.
