@codemonkeymike , after I retired a few years ago I switched my personal computers to Linux. I do still have one with Win 11 for a couple of programs that only work on it. I wish FreeBSD would get better laptop support, I've always been more comfortable in BSD, HP-UX, AIX, etc. than System V stuff.
@dan , still cold with snow on the ground here, expecting 5 or more inches this weekend. Looking forward to getting out on the old BMW!
@N3VEM , alsamixer is where I made the adjustments, the audio adjustments in Mate didn't help.
@kilroy_was_here @N3VEM , that's what it was for me.
@N3VEM , yes, for me it worked fine in Windows, but audio was very low in Debian. Internet searches using that fact is how I found the program to adjust it.
@N3VEM , it's been more than a year so I'm not sure of details, but I had to run a program from terminal to set a low level audio to get Signalink to work properly. On Debian.
All this way and the swimmin' hole is closed.
@dHeinemann no sissy bar, but in August I got a bag that sits on the back seat and straps down to the frame. Worked out really well for the Green Mountain Rally, and I like the size so much I used it for my luggage on my Thanksgiving trip to my parents.
@_nibbles , where can I get some? I'm going to visit family in WV for Thanksgiving with my dog.
@arnowi @Valheru , they are more expensive but the most comfortable helmet I've warn. I do have HJC modulars that my wife and I use on the snowmobile, but neither of us find them very comfortable
