Apple is going to install a scanning system on its phones that reduces user privacy and security. That’s not something we should stay quiet about. https://act.eff.org/action/tell-apple-don-t-scan-our-phones
Tell Apple: Don’t Scan Our Phones

Apple has abandoned its once-famous commitment to security and privacy. The next version of iOS will contain software that scans users’ photos and messages. Under pressure from U.S. law enforcement, Apple has put a backdoor into their encryption system. Sign our petition and tell Apple to stop its plan to scan our phones. Users need to speak up say this violation of our privacy is wrong.

Can't wait to flesh out this mesh network and take as much as I can off my WiFi.

I urge you guys to use this easy auto email tool to reach out to your local representative to give your voice against this new bill they're trying to pass. It sets the stage for a sad hugely invasive future.

Stop the EARN IT Bill Before It Breaks Encryption

The House and Senate are both pushing forward with the so-called “EARN IT” Act, a bill that will undermine encryption and free speech online. Attorney General William Barr and the DOJ have demanded for years that messaging services give the government special access to users’ private messages. If EARN IT passes, Barr will likely get his wish—law enforcement agencies will be able to scan every message sent online. The EARN IT Act (S. 3398) is anti-speech, anti-security, and unnecessary. It could come to the Senate floor this month—we need to tell Congress to reject this dangerous proposal.
