lakeladySome random thoughts on "favoriting" things on mastodon. . . It's a nice little way of saying "I hear/see you" . . . it feels weird to "favorite" a bad piece of news/reporting (but I still do it sometimes) . . . random strangers "favoriting" a post sometimes feels hollow and distant, especially when there's no other interaction. . . like someone waving at you across a crowded room . . . we're they waving at me or the person standing next to me? Do I know them? #OnlineCulture #RandomThoughts

@jen I don't think there can be a postmortem while he's still walking around as a congressional rep. Sadly McCarthy needs every possible vote, so he likely won't be forced to step down.
