@azteclady @wil None of that would surprise me. Google has done nothing to update the platform in a dog's age and I'm expecting them to kill it entirely, eventually - either on purpose or slowly through neglect. I'm trying not to think about it because ugh, 23 years worth of archives over there. And I really don't want to pay for hosting etc.
@azteclady @wil For some reason I had comments limited to Google accounts? I changed that to anyone, including anonymous. I also now have the comments box embedded at the bottom of the post instead of as a pop-up window. That displays the note about comment moderation. Hopefully this all helps? But it could just be Google sucking....
@azteclady @wil Yes, I have comment moderation on for all posts because spammers - but ugh, I'm not seeing you stuck in comment moderation either. Let me see if I can post a test comment....

👋 I'm new to the kind.social server! I'm a collection development librarian now working in admin. I read a lot - mainly romance and mystery. I watch a fair amount of sports (Detroit Tigers, Buffalo Bills), and drink more tea than is probably advisable. Looking forward to poking around here, finding some new folks to follow.
