At this point, Nest Renew basically feels like greenwashing. Granted we don't participate in Time-of-Use rates so I can't comment on potential savings there, but it's impossible to "prioritize clean energy" when there isn't any to use.

If you charge your phone or tablet overnight, there's an app called DreamLab that you can use to power scientific research for COVID-19, cancer, and climate change. Just charge your device like normal, and the app will automatically start when your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi. You can even set a monthly data limit for both Wi-Fi and mobile data.
