Wenn die reichsten Männer der Welt Medien beherrschen, politische Debatten manipulieren und Politik für Demokratiefeinde machen, braucht es einen ÖRR umso dringender. Aber einen, der sich nicht in Beliebigkeiten verliert, sondern sich seiner Funktion für diese Demokratie wieder bewusst wird.

In 2008, California voted to ban same-sex marriage, which felt like a gut punch.

However, that galvanized a movement that resulted in same-sex marriage being legal nationwide in a few years, and in this election, California voters enshrined same-sex marriage as a state Constitutional right.

As dark and sad as this election result is for many of us. Years from now we may look back on something wonderful it started or galvanized that transformed.

History continues and the dawn always comes.
