Note that you don't have to turn reactionary or go social democrat or give up because of the tankies. There are people everywhere who hate all domination & demand full liberation. We can do so much better than the obvious & established options.🏴

🏴Freedom without empathy & recognition of interdependence helps only folks who conform to norms of social value. Various critics rightfully point out how existing elites use force & fraud to hinder challengers, but this analysis doesn't go deep enough.🏴

Sometimes when I encounter rationalists I desperately yearn for their norms of reason/logic/evidence in radical circles. Then I remember most/all of them love Steven Pinker's The Better Angels of Our Nature. Turns out about everyone loves bullshit that supports their worldview!

I'm not much for progress narratives, but I'm still shocked to see so many "but she went to his apartment!" comments in 2018. People do lots of things other than play out stereotypical heterosexual sex scripts in homes/apartments. #AzizAnsari
