Aziz Ansari's GOOD FORTUNE is a wretched, unfunny, and incredibly insulting movie to anyone who has ever been poor. It is superficial in its understanding of the gig economy and I was so livid that I wanted to scream. It is poorly directed, with high caliber actors reduced to stiff performances, I counted two moments when the actors looked in the camera. Aziz Ansari is a privileged asshole who is as much of an auteur as Uwe Boll. Fuck him and fuck this movie.
I really enjoyed "Good Fortune". Keanu's up for anything now, isn't he? Good performances from Keanu Reeves, Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen. And some messages about our economy that don't show in the promotional materials.
