Spent much of the day on my old laptop, demoted to the woodworking space a while ago for the odd web lookup and streaming music. It won't boot, shows a resource conflict on BIOS screen.

2 hours to dismantle it without breaking anything. Good clean and inspection, remove spiders and their webs, remove odd substance shorting two connections, but no dice, still same error. Now ready to be a component donor, I think. https://mastodon.cloud/media/9WVaYv7ScU0sHuBl0GI
