Mass stranding of Velella Velella (relatives of Portuguese Man-o-wars) yesterday along Aptos beaches. We’ve seen them before but never like this. Thousands upon thousands. Strandings are apparently common (they can’t direct their motion, they are dependent on wind patterns), but I don’t know if there are other climate issues at play. #SantaCruz #MarineLife

Recency and frequency bias are anathema to quality music. Thus, they are highly weighted in algorithms.

Cracked the top of this ukulele during assembly; pushed down too hard when getting the bracing and binding notches to align. Gluing it up anyway, maybe I’ll just run a little dilute glue into the crack afterwards and clamp it and see if that fixes it.
