Something wicked this way comes...

Distant.

The sun shone so brightly upon my face. Its light spoke to me in such grace. Then came winter, months passed by and time felt like a splinter. My life broken up into pieces, but all was not left hopeless as I navigated these creases. I awakened to the call of frigid dusk, I came out anew, no longer a desolate husk. As I heeded the call, I felt as if the cold brought with it much comfort and gloom and, in that space, I bloomed.

My eyes darted upwards as a magnificent sight befell upon them. Streaks of gold, so beautiful, dotted the horizon. Wherever the head went, they followed. The scene was serene and tranquil. I embraced this moment of quiet solitude with the wind gently hitting my skin and the noise of urban composition, a soft pattering that touched my ears, a distant cacophony. I closed my eyes and basked in the dusk glow.
