The sun shone so brightly upon my face. Its light spoke to me in such grace. Then came winter, months passed by and time felt like a splinter. My life broken up into pieces, but all was not left hopeless as I navigated these creases. I awakened to the call of frigid dusk, I came out anew, no longer a desolate husk. As I heeded the call, I felt as if the cold brought with it much comfort and gloom and, in that space, I bloomed.
