@rejzor @Remittancegirl I am reminded of an Asimov story in which someone convicted of some sort of computer crime was punished by being psychologically imprinted with a phobia against using any kind of computerized high-tech. The lawyer he found to try an appeal acknowledged that it was a pretty tough sentence that rendered the convict virtually incapable of functioning in society, but was pessimistic that any jury would see it as anything but a punishment perfectly fitting to the crime.
