Straight off the scanner. No touch-up, no editing, no cleaning - I'm really happy with how the newest™ batch of photos look.
After a lot of experiments - it looks like I have a workflow that produces good results.

Update:
1 As per usual I'm way behind on anything that's happening around me. This is not the new Phoenix 2 Filmstock but the old "regular" Phoenix.
2 guess who used the scanner's default settings to scan a film with a blue-ish purple base like an amateur... That's right, it was me.
After some profiling, essentially generating a colour profile, this is how it looks now. Way less saturated, but more retention of the "small" detail. Plus a bit less grainy.
Opinions are always welcome.

Yeah it's getting a bit much.
I did some testing during the weekend and the "results" are in.
I tested
-(1) Harman Phoenix 200
-(2) Ilford Ilfocolor 400
-(3) Kodak Vision 3 50D
during a trip to Luby u Chebu. Overcast and gloomy weather with mostly even light.. perfect.
Tastes are highly subjective so there's no clear winner™. Compare for yourself:

I tried some photographic printing last weekend.
The old fashioned way™ with black and white negatives, an enlarger and photographic paper.
I tried this already a few months ago, but it was not that successful.
