I'm not one for confrontation and the person here I'm about to mention doesn't even follow me (nor me them) and so I don't think this is a sub-toot, but they've just posted about how they work for Meta, how we should all be aware of how bad policies are rapidly being introduced there, and how they will negatively affect anyone still using Meta.

Why, then, are they still working at Meta? If it's really that evil (it is), then why not get a job elsewhere? The writing's been on the wall for a long time, why continue contributing to ruining peoples' lives?

I work in an industry where jobs are scarce. When a company I worked for began treating people shittily I did all I could to get out of there. It took time, but I got out. Why isn't the same true of this person in the tech sector? Once again it's tech people being hypocritical and fucking up the world.
