The computer crashed and I lost all twenty tabs I had up on my browser. Of those I hadn't bothered to bookmark I am trying to recall how many were necessary enough to find again. There was also a blog entry I started to type that was recovered.
"I suggested an idea to someone I would consider a friend. It wasn’t well received. They weren't into anything at that moment in time. It frustrated me but like so many things these days I have no control over. Visiting friends."
I won't finish that stream of thought and will instead summarize with a photo.
When I visit a certain friend I take a picture of a bridge in town.

It's ... Monday I guess ... or almost Tuesday. (*thinks*) Let's say it is Monday and post this.
I like this photo. Take care for now Fediverse.

Hope everyone had/or is having a great Wednesday.
I shook off the doldrums to locate another Tuesday image from my archives.
Giant Sequoia, Sequoiadendron giganteum
A 90 year old Giant Sequoia has become an iconic scene on a Pacific Northwest college campus. It is located just outside the student union building. Plastic chairs of different colours lie underneath. Sit and rest a spell.
I had this in my files and today seems like a good fit.
I discovered this scene in search of an old mine. It was one month into autumn and yellow mushrooms were all over this stump in the creek. Recent rains had brought the level up to the point walking on the sandbars or in creek bed was unfeasible. Devils club and uneven terrain alongside. I never found that mine entrance. It was set in solid rock but if the hillside sloughed off it could be buried. Plants seen here on first glance, Western Sword Fern (Polystichum munitum), Bigleaf Maple (Acer macrophyllum, Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata). I want to say there's some sort of blackberry vine like plant also.
Ideas on the mushrooms?
