Just before the Splatfest began, I made my first ever plaza post because you finally do not need an external social media account. For Team Bread, I made... Metroid Bread. I have no idea if anyone saw this in-game.
The image on the right is basically a copy of an emote from the Metroid Dread Speedrun Discord and was the inspiration for this.
I just went through a lot of nonsense glitches to see this for myself after hearing about it. In Paper Mario: TTYD Switch, if you don't have a hammer, the Hammer battle menu option will be gone entirely. This is impossible to encounter as you always have a hammer, but glitches now allow you to do this by storing the hammers (which are key items) at shops.
Why is this a thing in this remake? Is this a Paper Mario 64 leftover in GameCube TTYD that survived into Switch???
On this day four years ago...L became Real.
It's unsettling to think that if that leak never happened, would we ever be able to see the official SM64 Luigi in this high quality?
Just had a genuine "game is gaslighting me" moment.
In the new Minecraft update, I finally got wind charges for the first time. While using them in trial chambers, I felt like I was supposed to be able to jump higher, but it wasn't possible, making the navigation of the whole place feel awful.
I then discovered that my blast protection armor's explosion knockback resistance was applying to wind charge knockback, making my jumps much worse. I then looked at the wiki, and found myself at bug report MC-268411 for this oddity, which is "Works As Intended".
This combo of questionable game design and me having the perfect niche enchant to reveal this oddity really disappointed me. I was robbed of a fun first time experience and had no idea I was nerfing myself for a meaningful amount of time.
